In the bush on Berghan Point, above Doubtless Bay in the Far North of Aotearoa. The blue flag in the map below is Tiraki

Tiraki is 3 hectare of regenerating and virgin native bush. On arrival there were heaps of pest plants, including 25 huge gums and 10 large blackwoods, along with pampas grass, gorse and other foreign invaders. Job number one.

Berghan Point has over 400 pairs of North Island brown kiwi. We have several pairs living on Tiraki heard every night. Such a lovely sound.
